My Story:

My wellness journey started during my days as a busy accountant working for corporate companies. I barely slept and dreamed in Excel spreadsheets creating budget and future strategic plans, had heart palpitations due to high stressed job. To help combat the stress, I found my way to yoga and healthy eating. Pretty quickly I knew this was my calling and what I wanted to share with the world. After 20 years working as an accountant, I quit my job to pursue health coaching.

 

Throughout most of my adult life I struggled chronically with constant fatigue from sinus infections and allergies,

headaches, low energy and the funny thing is that I thought this is all normal, until I realized by changing my diet and lifestyle habits I can change the way I feel. It took many years of trial and errors, prioritizing wellness and myself to get me where I am today. I am 50 years old but feel more energized, more full of life, I sleep soundly, eat a nutrient dense and delicious diet that makes me feel great inside out. I am in tuned with my body and full of gratitude for each and everyday. I hope that the information you find here inspires you in your life. A few more things about me:

I live for learning new things/ skills.

I love to read books mostly educational and inspiring. If I am not reading, I am exercising or creating new recipes.

I love to travel the world and to know people from different backgrounds and cultures - their foods and traditions.

I absolutely love being outdoors: hiking, bike riding, swimming, beach volleyball, skiing, ice skating.

I love to watch comedy movies. After all “laughter is the best medicine”!


My Training:

I received my training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s cutting edge Health Coach Training Program, where I studied over one hundred dietary theories, and studied a variety of practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Mark Hyman, MD, founder of The UltraWellness Center; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills, the knowledge of different dietary theories, and my own personal experiences I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results, while creating vibrant health and happiness.
